In 2012, one of our goals as a community is to read all the way through the Bible together. In every decision, in every circumstance, God calls us to act first and foremost as his people. That can only happen as we study his word and allow it to transform us. In short, we can only live the way God intends to the degree that we allow ourselves to be people of his word.
As in the past, we will provide the daily readings for you along with daily prayer concerns. Our practice has been to follow the Daily Office, but this year will be different. Each day we will read from a different portion of the Bible.
Our weekly pattern will be as follows:
Sundays - a reading from the Epistles
Mondays - a reading from the Law
Tuesdays - a reading from History
Wednesdays - a reading from the Psalms
Thursdays - a reading from Poetry
Fridays - a reading from the Prophets
Saturdays - a reading from the Gospels
I invite you to join us on our adventure!!
